In Defense of Food.

Finally getting around to this.  It's a surprisingly easy read.  However, it might have been wise to save it until after vacation, where "edible foodlike substances" abound.

Another quilting book.

 

You can't love every book on your bookshelf, and I'm a bit lukewarm on this one.

The Immortal Fire.

Our family book right now is the third in Anne Ursu's trilogy.  The first was a little on the bloody side, the second was fast-paced; we are halfway through this one and it's the most amusing of the three.

Pride and Prejudice and....

 

A real hoot if you've already memorized the original (and you like a good zombie story).
