I love making jammies, especially the bottoms. At one time I considered giving my kids a special pair of pajamas on Christmas Eve -- but for us that would have been just another part of an already tradition-squished evening (grandma & grandpa's, the almond in the rice pudding, the pickle on the tree, the dice game...whew). Last year I hit on the perfect solution: what is the one holiday that almost always falls on a school night yet is near impossible to get the kids settled down for sleep?
You can just get a glimpse of the (matching) jammie bottoms in this photo -- a candy corn print.
This year I'm taking the even easier route -- I bought them in December at the end-of-year sale at Hanna. For the record, I feel oh-so-content when I've thought ahead.
You've got to love those Hanna sales! My kids are still living in their 4th of July Hannas! Fun tradition, Gina. Oh, and I love the almond in the rice pudding - I've always wanted to do that and you may have inspired me to do that this year!
