On Monday, I talked about saving new recipes to try. Once I've tried them, I put them in a folder that I keep with my cookbooks. I go back to that folder when I want to make it again (and if I see something that's been in there awhile that I haven't made a second time, I pitch it). Once the recipe gets splattered from repeat use, I record it in my Recipe Journal. These are our family favorites that I make again and again (along with a few recipes from our childhoods and some I just want to save, like my sister's hot cocoa mix).
Shockingly, the dessert section is full and the main dish section has five entries.
i'm gonna try that hot cocoa mix recipe, it sounds yummy, especially with the cool temps we've been having!
