Six years ago I mailed my holiday cards on December 23rd. After making thousands of cards for customers, I settled in to make ours the week before Christmas. Did I enjoy it? Not one little bit. How about the photo? Mediocre at best. Did I have a near mental breakdown at Proex? Let's not go there.
Enter fall 2003 and a great idea was born: I would send Thanksgiving cards. I would thank friends and family for being a part of our lives and I would (gasp) enjoy the process. (Fast forward to 2008, with fifteen stores carrying my holiday album...I have to consciously choose to enjoy the process.)
Leave a comment (or email) by the end of the day Friday & I will add you to the list for this year's card!
(from my 2003 scrapbook)
Love the card! And i love this idea. We get so many holiday cards that sometimes I wish I got a few cards throughout the year to see family and friends.
Great idea! I can't wait to see this year's card.
PS: I am working on your 'art' project this weekend...I hope and should have it in the mail next week...sorry I am so late!

I, too, love the idea of a Thanksgiving card, since that's pretty much what our Christmas card turns out to be anyway. I also love that it spreads the "cheer" out a bit. Thanks for the idea!
