If you're new to my blog, start here.
And here is the pizza dough recipe to go with today's Friday Night Pizza.
White Chicken Pizza
Start with sauteing some minced garlic in a few tablespoons of olive oil. Spread or drizzle that over your prepared crust. Then slather some white sauce over that. (We have used everything from a homemade bechamel to a jar of alfredo. Most often, I use the refrigerated light alfredo sauce.) Top with: cooked chicken, sliced olives, little bits of sundried tomato, and crumbles of goat cheese. Sprinkle 1-2 tablespoons fresh rosemary over the top.
Next week: five more recipes + I'll share my plans for March. Tonight: my husband and I are celebrating the anniversary of the night we met (February 20, 1989...20 years ago). Have a splendid weekend!

another idea if you like garlic: use ricotta cheese right on top of the dough, then mozzarella, then slices of garlic and some chopped parsley. Very tasty!

Okay, I'm joining late in the game, but I love this idea and checking out all the recipes.
Mine to add:
Taco Soup
Brown 1 lb ground beef, draining fat. Add 1 chopped onion and saute. Add 1 pkg taco seasoning mix, 12 oz can tomato sauce, 1 can corn (drained), 1 lg can kidney beans, and 1 lg can stewed tomatoes.
Cook until bubbly.
Serve with corn chips, cheese, and sour cream.
I ate this for the first time in high school at my friend Maggie's house. She shared the recipe and I've enjoyed it ever since. Perfect for a cold winter/almost-spring day!
