I just picked this one up over the weekend (while my kids hung out at a Percy Jackson party downstairs in the library). I have been toying with getting a new camera. I firmly believe that having a new camera will not make one a better photographer...but I do miss the quality of photos I could take with my old SLR. Possibly it is time to splurge on a digital model. What camera do you use and do you love it?
I couldn't afford the canon SLR so I got the Canon G9, kind of an inbetweener. There are tons of manual settings and so much more to learn about it. But I've been really happy with the quality of pictures it takes.

I have a canon 20D SLR and a point-shoot canon 9G. I love them both. I love having the flexibility of my SLR and my 9G lives in my purse so I always have a camera with me. Lately, I've been relying more on my 9G just because I have it with me.

I have a Nikon D90, and yes, I believe having a good camera makes a difference. I had a camera that wouldn;'t do much for a while and almost completely quit photography for a couple of years because of it.
