Lucky Gisele, with the lovely name. (Come to think of it, I've always liked the name Amelia too.) Here are some either/or thoughts from Gisele:
coffee. There's nothing like savoring a good cup of coffee with friends. Plus I have little kids that like to visit in the middle of the night.
matte.
sweet. chocolate or ice cream, please.
radio. I love podcasts. especially the Moth and Selected Shorts at the moment.
morning. I tried for a long time to be a night person (being married to one), but I'm really happiest getting up before everyone else and savoring that little bit of quiet time before the day really begins.
pencil and pen. both. More pen as I get older and more confident and less afraid of making mistakes, but I like the flexibility and impermanence of pencil.
introvert.
mountain.
spontaneous. That's fancy for random, right? Things got a lot easier when I learned to embrace my inner randomness. It was the most important thing I learned in university (Take that Durkheim!).
messy. I'd love to be neat, but that's not really my nature.
town or country - small town. I want to be able to walk to the grocery store but find citties suffocating.
eat in. But I'll take a good steak at a restaurant any day. Mmm... steak. Sorry, I'm from Alberta. It's our motto.
Isn't this sweet? I think I have barely scratched the surface of project ideas on Gisele's blog. (Did I mention I'm into embroidery lately?)
And you can find these wool felt barrettes in her etsy shop, Silver Sisters Studio.
Thank you for sharing a bit about yourself, Gisele!
What a lovely interview! Thanks, Gina!

ooh, I just started listening to the moth podcasts. (I ran out of radiolab ones a few weeks ago--those are the awesomest.)
I love hat you're from alberta. I lived up there for eighteen months a while back. such a gorgeous, wonderful place...
