Missing the International Quilt Market because I was frantically working/traveling to Alabama. (I chose this particular post because I have kimono-inspired drawings in my idea journal.)

Savoring the everyday.

It was fun to peek at those links. I especially appreciated the savoring everyday post. I think of my mom every time I wrap my daughters' sandwiches in wax paper. Isn't that silly? For some reason, that one act takes me back to my own mom preparing my school lunches. If I were to feel grumbly, that stops me from grumbling immediately. I LOVE this time in my life and know it will not last forever.
