Stop by Kiki's List today for a lettergirl giveaway. And while you're there, take a look at that grapefruit martini. (It's only a little bit appetizing at 6:45 on a Monday morning, but I'm guessing it would taste like heaven on a Friday night.)
I'm always tickled when someone writes that I've inspired them in some way. Yesterday, The Mom over at the Books for Walls Project borrowed my William Carlos Williams quote. The beauty of it is that I was going to write out the quotation by hand, then realized it had more impact for me directly from the book. Nice to know others agree with that choice!
A month or so ago I signed up for the Me: A to Z class at Big Picture Scrapbooking. Now as you know, my goal is not to make more scrapbooks. But I have been thinking for some time now (two years? three?) about making a book based on my own encyclopedia -- a la Amy Krouse Rosenthal. I was a little hesitant to sign up for a class because a) I'm heading into my busiest season and b) the other class I took at BPS was just not that great. So I'm thinking of this class as simply a framework for working on the project my way. I think it would be even more fun if I had some online friends to join me...anyone interested? Class starts this Thursday.
I'm signed up - I took the class last year and hope to finish the book this year.

I'm in! I want to do the class in my art journal (need some ideas to get me going with it).

This looks fun, but I'm also nervous to sign up for something not knowing if I will have the time to devote. I'll think on this...

I took this class and it was fabulous. I love Cathy's simple style and not making things complicated. You really do end up with a treasure for yourself and future generations!
