Last night a group of six women stitched their little hearts out in my dining room, courtesy of my cyberpal Rachel. (Remember Rachel?) I knew it was going to be a good evening. And it was.
I envy Rachel's ability to collect interesting friends. And I envied that all of these women could take an evening to try something new -- away from families and away from home on a blustery evening. I need to get out more.
Gorgeous!
That looks like so much fun! I need to find some stitchy friends in my area...

*envious* ;) I am trying to find a "tribe" in my area. Difficult, because most of the people I know would rather spend an evening at a beach bar downing cocktails than crafting up something. But I will not give up!

girlfriends are the best! my ladies group doesn't stitch together, but we like to share a meal, go to the movies, or exchange gently used books & magazines!
some of get together to "scrap" together!
chel - have you thought about checking into "woman's groups" in your area?? or leaving a post at your favorite fabric store?

This is my dream come true! I am so sorry that we do not live in the same neighborhood. I smile just thinking of you all.
