Birthday giveaway!

My favourite thing to make is "Back to School Blackberry Pie." It's an annual tradition. My husband, kids and I go blackberry picking, and fill our buckets with the delicious berries. Then the boys help me make the pastry {I am not much of a pastry maker, so this is a BIG deal and happens just once a year} and mix the berries & sugar. We bake it and have it for dessert sometime on the last weekend of the summer holidays. That's this weekend! We've got the berries. Now we need to get baking!

My favorite thing to make is smocked bishop dresses for my baby girl. I recently started learning to sew and smock and it is quickly becoming my absolute favorite thing to do in my free time. Since I had my little girl about 8 weeks ago, I don't have much time to spare but am thrilled that when I finish a dress, she will get to wear it! Thanks for the giveaway!!

making things is always awesome. making bags is probably the favourite-- embroidered, reversible messenger bags seem to be the kind I like best. and it's really cool when you can make them out of old trousers or leftover fabric from other projects.

My favorite thing is MAKING. Period. My heart's choice would be to make all day, every day...instead of when I give myself permission. Most recently, I made beaded jewelry and a knit cardi. I also made GF eggplant parm to great reviews last night. And, I LOVE your Morris design.

I really enjoy making cookies. They are quick, the ingredients are usually on hand and the smile it brings to the faces of my family, make the little bit of mess worth it. If they involve chocolate, it's even better.
