Today I'm going to a meeting with the Magic Wand Collective and getting my feet wet with the idea of publishing a book. I've had this in the back of my mind for awhile, and I'm not even sure when I'd jump in, but it's time to at least learn a little more.
Here's where you come in: any suggestions for a topic? I have a few ideas, but I'm curious to know what my loyal blog readers think. And to sweeten the pot, I'm having a giveaway: one of my handwritten bookplate stamps. Just leave a note in the comment with your thoughts on what I could write a book about, and I'll draw a winner on Monday morning, November 5th.
The winner gets their choice of the Elizabeth bookplate (top photo) or the Perfect bookplate (bottom photo) in either self-inking or red rubber. I can't wait to hear your ideas!
handwriting and beautiful doodles for paper and fabric - what a book that would be!

I would LOVE your handwriting tips (similar to your self-paced class) in book form (and maybe a code to use to access the class?), from what pen(s) to use to how to craft perfect letters! I'd buy several copies!!

Has to be how to write as beautifully as you do. What paper and penns/pencils work best, etc. etc.

I think it should be on words/letters and sewing. My favorite pieces of yours are when you incorporate script into your designs!

What to write about is such a personal thing. What are you excited about right now?
A book on lettering would be fantastic. tips, how to's, different "fonts", projects to do with lettering - this could include fabric which you are also passionate about.
But really, it depends what you are excited about - running a small business, your journey as an artist, explorations in fabric. You have to spend a lot of time with this subject, don't just pick something because it is the obvious choice.

Gina, My head says: A book on your life as an artist, yes, your journey. I would be interested in the transformative changes that have taken place over time: influences, constraints, the path itself, patience and perservance. Or maybe a children's book. I don't know if you are inclined in this direction, but thought/felt this might be for you. Terry

A book of your beautifully lettered quotes would be fantastic.

A little book about the history of the written (creatively) word. I'd buy that :)

I know I'm too late for contest...but I'd buy a general inspiration book full of your handwriting and illustrations. Maybe a compilation of your favorite quotes. Or some of your reflections intertwined with pages of quotes and drawings. That's from a general population point of view...personally I'd love a how to write more creatively/stylistically/authentically with practical and inspirational instructions -- technique and "put a fire in my belly" type stuff... :-)
