Holiday wrap-up, part one.

New Year's Day for me:  reading in bed, snuggling while reading aloud, card games, sneaking out with the boy for a late lunch, more reading aloud, board games, a family movie.  None of my typical reflection or planning, just a full day of being present.  The rest of the week I'll take time to look ahead; but for now, here are a few of my favorite projects from the holiday season (part one):
