This week's quote is available for purchase here. I've been looking at it all month on the April page of my 2012 calendar, and it's a quote I never seem to get tired of.
Two previous quotes are now in the shop too: Mark Twain and Albert Camus. The Goethe quote I did first is an odd size, so I'm not sure yet if or when I'll be adding that one to the shop.
Enjoy your weekend!
Now for sale! I will get the other quotes in this series onto etsy when I return from Spring Break. Have a great weekend!
I'm sure it will come as no surprise that I like making resolutions. I had a few ideas for new year's resolutions floating around in my head before January first -- but I was still feeling exhausted after a stressful December, and couldn't quite get myself to focus long enough to make a plan. (And I love a plan!) So when I woke up ealier than everyone else on Sunday, I lingered a few minutes over my ideas...and resolved to keep it simple.
This year I will honor my gifts. Instead of being drawn into the web of worry and guilt that often accompanies my creating, I will focus on gratitude for my talents. Of course, I'd prefer to have a roadmap, but this is a journey that just doesn't have one. I don't know what route I'll take, what the mileposts are, but I do know that I'll put one foot in front of the other and hope I end up in an even better place.
This week I'll be mailing out the first Quote of the Month. You can win a year's subscription to Quote of the Month (a $54 value) by leaving a comment with your answer to one of these questions:
*what is your new year's resolution? OR
*what is one thing I can do to achieve my own resolution?
Be sure to comment by Thursday night, and I'll draw one winner on Friday morning (1/6/2012). And if you've already purchased a Quote of the Month series for yourself, you can still enter & have the new set sent to a friend.
Happy new year!
The first twelve to purchase my new Quote of the Month Club get free shipping -- only three left! (If you notice shipping charges listed in the item description, you'll know the last three were already scooped up.) Quote of the Month will be available for purchase through the end of December.
You may have noticed I've gotten a little quote crazy lately -- what with the new calendar and the Quote of the Month Club. Well, unpacking this morning from Rachel's Holiday Boutique (a splendid time), I found that I have a few quote cards leftover...and it would be so much easier to mail them to you than it would be to find a place for them here. So leave a comment on today's post before Friday, and then I'll draw two winners, who will receive 3 quote cards each. Tell me your favorite fall food!
New in the shop: a handlettered desktop calendar for 2012! Each 4x6 card features a quotation embellished by hand with watercolor and/or glitter. And when the month is over, you can reuse the card: send it as a postcard, trim it down to fit a square frame, or attach it to a handmade greeting card or scrapbook page. I've made a limited run of 50 and will be selling them this weekend at Rachel's Holiday Boutique...when they're gone, they're gone. I hope I remember to save one for my own desk!
